Shipping policy

Eco-Friendly Products LLC is committed to reliable, timely delivery across the Baltimore-Washington corridor. This policy outlines our shipping and delivery practices for institutional, government, and commercial customers.
1. Service Area
We primarily serve customers in the Baltimore-Washington corridor, including:
● Howard County, MD
● Anne Arundel County, MD
● Prince George's County, MD
● Baltimore City and Baltimore County, MD
● Montgomery County, MD
● Washington, D.C.
● Delaware
● Pennsylvania
● Northern Virginia
Delivery outside this primary service area may be available on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss options.
2. Shipping Methods
We offer the following delivery options:
● Direct delivery: orders delivered by our own fleet or dedicated carrier to your facility
● Third-party freight: larger pallet orders may ship via a contracted freight carrier (LTL or FTL)
● Pickup: customers may arrange pickup at our warehouse by prior arrangement
3. Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 3 business days of receipt of a confirmed purchase order or signed quote. Processing times may vary for:
● Custom or special-order products (allow two additional business days)
● Large institutional or bulk orders (delivery timeline confirmed at order acceptance)
● Orders placed on state or federal holidays
4. Estimated Delivery Time
For standard in-stock products within our primary service area:
● Local delivery (Howard, Anne Arundel, Prince George's, Baltimore): [2–5 business days]
● Regional delivery (D.C., Montgomery, surrounding areas): [3–7 business days]
● Freight/pallet orders: timeline confirmed at order acceptance
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by carrier availability, weather, or supply conditions.
5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on order volume, weight, and delivery location. For institutional and government customers:
● Orders meeting minimum volume thresholds may qualify for free delivery within our primary service area — ask about our institutional delivery program
● Freight charges for large pallet orders will be quoted separately and included in your order confirmation
● Rush delivery or off-route deliveries may incur an additional fee
All shipping costs are disclosed prior to order confirmation.
6. Recurring & Standing Orders
We offer recurring delivery schedules for institutional and government customers with regular volume needs. If your facility requires weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly deliveries, we can establish a standing order arrangement with fixed pricing and scheduled delivery windows. Contact us to set up a recurring delivery program.
7. Order Tracking
Upon shipment, we will provide order tracking information where available. For direct deliveries, our team will confirm an expected delivery window by phone or email. For freight shipments, a PRO number or carrier tracking reference will be provided.
8. Receiving Orders
Please ensure an authorized representative is available to receive and sign for deliveries during the agreed delivery window. For institutional deliveries (schools, hospitals, government facilities), please provide dock/delivery access instructions at time of order.
If no authorized recipient is available at time of delivery, we will attempt to coordinate a re-delivery. Re-delivery fees may apply.
9. Damaged or Missing Items
Please inspect all deliveries at the time of receipt. If products arrive damaged or if items are missing from your order:
● Note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing
● Contact us within two business days of delivery at ecofriendlyprod@gmail.com
● Retain the original packaging and take photos of any damage if possible
We will arrange for replacement, credit, or refund for verified damaged or missing items.
10. Returns and Refusals
Given the nature of our products (food-service disposables), we are generally unable to accept returns of opened or partially-used cases. For unopened, undamaged products:
● Returns must be authorized in advance by contacting our customer service team
● Returns must be initiated within five business days of delivery
● A restocking fee of 35% may apply to non-defective returns
● Custom or special-order products are non-returnable
11. Government & Institutional Contract Deliveries
For orders placed under government or institutional contracts, delivery terms are governed by the applicable contract, purchase order, or procurement agreement. In cases of conflict between this policy and a signed contract, the contract terms shall prevail. We are experienced in complying with agency-specific delivery requirements, including dock scheduling, credentialing, and delivery documentation.
